hayray, this is not normal for us down here..regarding the snow..we had blizzard conditions over christmas..5 foot drifts in some places, stranded cars and motorists everywhere..we are not equiped for this type of thing down here.

Almost lost the pony, Pie, as she got stuck in a snowdrift and I had to dig her out, cold and wet.. ..bad deal..

I grew up in the northeast, and I HATE HATE HATE snow..its all melted now, but it sure was a big issue down here.
