#2 PB Gelbvieh Cow bull

I like him better than the other bull you posted. Much more thickness and muscle expression. Looks a bit weak-backed, but it may be the way he's standing. You didn't do him any favors in the 1st pic, but he looks good in the next 2

Good phenotype, good maternal numbers and good carcass numbers. His sire and dam are more consistent in their numbers and have a slightly higher accuracy than the other bulls parents.

Calving ease (both direct and maternal) and birth weight are of concern. I hope you have the easy keeping, easy calving cows to accommodate him and to raise off those fast gaining calves. If all things are in place, you should see some nice paychecks from Mr. Hojer.

For some reason he reminds me of a Gelbvieh bull named Urlacher but with better EPD's (http://cattlevisions.com/bull_detail.php?BullId=523)

Urlacher had a similar Calving Ease EPD and had calves in the 80-90 pound range.

Regards,
Mr. Greenjeans
