Sort of..They call it the Dublin Rule, but several EU countries have decided not to follow it.
Asylum seekers for instance, that enter thru a Mediteranean country should stay there under Dublin, but few do. According to Dublin, any immigrant found outside the 1st country they enter, is mandated to be sent back to that original 'country of entry' but some EU nations refuse to send anyone back to Greece or Italy.

True... seems to me that it is their choice to not uphold the rule.

Just as it would be the UK government's choice to not uphold the immigration rule.

The same UK government that passed restrictive guns laws.

The restrictive gun laws came first.... then they allowed the "not so nice people" in by the millions.

Convicted felons in possession of firearms need to be put to sleep. The death penalty is a real deterrent if its actually used, instead of a threat. There's just no money in doing that, and the gun banning bleeding heart liberals call it cruel and unusual punishment.
