I have been seeing a lot of herd sires on here, and decided to post mine. I think he is pretty good. It is obvious that his neck isn't very clean fronted, but our cows should take care of that. His growth numbers are top notch. BW3.3 WW56 YW102 Individual performance on those of 90% 113% 112%
His REA was I believe right at 14sqin, and an IMF of a little under 4. HIs adjusted WW was 774, and his yearling adjust was 1400.

read the first post from Macon about posting a picture.
or the second post linked to a tutorial that will explain it step by step. if your need further help pm me

your also trying to load it from a file on your computer. You cant do that. You have to post it ont he web first, LOL!

And switch teh around. You have it backwards.

I finally got this to work, let me know what you think. He also has been running about 10 cows, our pasture is basically dried up, so he has been getting a little rolled corn and prairie hay. It aslo has been an average of 100 degrees for the last 3 weeks

thats a nice looking hereford bull.nice weight for his age.id love to see what he looks like as a 2yr old bull.he has room to grow into a big bull.

Looks like a real nice bull. Can't really fault him from that pic or the info you gave. Do you have his reg# so we can all check out his pedigree?

Not a bad looking bull. Very thick and lots of depth. Looks to have maybe a big top to him. Anyway, looks great. Wouldn't mind looking him up. Take care and he should sire some really thick and impressive calves. :cboy:

His # is 42583974

Since the sire's epd's have been recalculated his epd's have changed a little. Still very impresive. I would urge anyone looking into herefords to look at this bulls sire, m326. He is quickly growing into one of the best bulls in the breed, he produces good doing cattle with great actual data.

Thanks for all the replies. WE are going to see what his calves do next year. We bred him to a 10 cows and 2 heifers so we should be able to see what kind of BW he actually has. I want to watch how they grow and possibly in the future I might pull a few straws of semen on the bull. I am going to let him prove himself first before I spend the money

Thanks,mnmt
I was told at one point that the angus and the hereford should stop fighting, because without the two breeds neither breed would be as successful. With the maternal ability of the baldy, and packers wanting a little less angus influence the hereford/angus cross is setting up cattleman for success in all areas. So I take your comment as a real complimant. Because that is what the hereford breed is about, complimanting angus cows or bulls. OF course all my opinion.

Very nice bull, I really like his numbers. Thanks for pointing out the m326 bull to me, looks like one I'll buy semen on.

I was a compliment, I think everyone should see how the Black Baldy cow does her job.

The 1400 lb yearling weight is good, but it looks like a lot of that just came from being big framed, because a 14 inch eye on a 1400 lb. bull is not big........average at best. If you just need more frame he should do the trick.

He is barely a frame 6 bull, he is only a little taller then our yearling heifers. That 1400was an adjusted YW. And I believe, not for sure, it was a 14.7 REA at 11 months of age. You probably can't hold me to all that, but it is very close. So I wouldn't say he is very framy at all.
