Neighbors bull is dead he's saying it my bull that done it.

Iso I blocked you so I only see what other quote you as saying. So your opinion on any issue means nothing to me. Alan I was talking about everyone losing their temper and saying things they do not mean. Yes Cause Of Death and Post Mortem. Did anyone of you talk to Joe? I did.

Neighbors bull is dead he's saying it my bull that done it.

Alan I was looking at all the people jumping on the "pay for the bull" band wagon. So my.jumping into my training what was COD? What did the pm say? Oh that is right. No pm was done so no COD was found other then a another bull was in the pasture earlier. We all lose our temper at some point but...

Sometimes you should just stay in bed.

Sorry to hear that HD. :( We had a heifer get her head caught in a mineral feeder of all things and one of her front legs was also caught. Don't ask me how but hubby got her to pick up that front hoof like a horse and get her unstuck. Feeder went to the scrap heap.

    No good deed goes unpunished

There is a couple out here that are super nice people. When they first moved here I hired them to help me put up a new metal section of our corral. Well over the last few years we have been swapping work with them in exchange for feed for their stock. This Christmas with me too sick to make alot...

    Castrating alone

We use a bander on the bulls after they have had that first suck. Only concern is momma getting in our face. Banded my bum calf with the big rubber bander after he was 5 months old. Just put him in the head catch and the vet did him. Gave him a shot for tetanus and he was off and going. You...

I think someone stole my hay....

Talk to your local trapper about gtting some scent glands from skunks, that works well too. ;-) Definately call LEO and see if they can help and report it as stolen. If they came on your property and removed property that was not paid for that is stealing.

    Cattle software

That's funny cmf I always got a call back or even an e-mail right back. I can enter all my vaccines much easier then trying to figure out Cattlemax. Just got sick of trying to even understand it and just removed it from my computor. Couldn't get any help from CM at all. Just hard to understand...

    Cattle software

I tried the free trial of Cattlemax and I was not impressed. Tried Ranch Manager and it was better priced and much easier to use.

    Afterbirth?

hook we have removed rotten afterbirth that would have gagged a maggot. Yeah some guys don't know how to do it is right, but each cow is different. Has the OP tried to remove it or just left it? Is it a hard pull or is it coming out easily with traction? Yeah your :2cents: and I added my...

    Afterbirth?

Sorry I disagree. Had a heifer calve yesterday morning, she passed around 95% of the afterbirth. Around 11pm last night I could smell it starting to stink so I grabbed it and gave some traction and it came right out. Nothing will clear out a barn faster then rotten afterbirth.

    Finishing a steer

Oh come DB sometimes we all forget and sometimes you get so many hits you get confused. Finishing out a steer ourselves. Been feeding him a hay rotation of barley hay, alfalfa, and grass. Plus he is getting ground barley, cob with mollases and a high fat soy bean meal. He is going in next...

    Most durable ear tags

TB I put a tattoo of their tag number in their ears at branding. Not hard to figure them out. Got a couple cows that lost their tags. One is 334 and the other is 223. Pretty crazy we can reconize our cows even without their tags. ;-)

    Most durable ear tags

I like our Ritchies may lose them but the numbers don't fade like others.
