    Fence Question

Hey Tim they are fine if thats were you intend on keeping them I use some of the same panels in my crowding pen. Some have been ran into and bent by my big cows, but they never try to deliberately run into them and escape. I wouldnt worry about what you have. They should be OK.

    Hurricanes/Severe Storms and Cattle

Yep I left my herd in an open field. As long as its not a tornado they just lay down until the winds pass. I have a barn but the horse is the only one who goes in ther. and he is free to go in and out as he wants. But cows have been in severe weather way before we started pinning them up...

    Rained On Hay

I would watch how moldy the hay actually gets. I had a 7 month calf aborted because of moldy haylage. Everything Ive read says moldy hay is bad to feed cows especially pregnant ones. Just so happens I didndt know the haylage was moldy due to its appearance.

    Flys Flys Flys

Sounds weird but I used fly predators and they seemed to work. All the big horse tracks use them. They are a little expensive but seem to be working here. https://orders.spalding-labs.com/whatAr ... dators.php

    lump on neck after vaccinations

    Cattle Pink Eye

JF It might not be pink I and just an irritation I would try to find out what it is before you try to treat it You might be throwing money away also there is a chance of over use of antibiotics and bacteria becoming immune to the antibiotic. Just a suggestion .

    bull

You can breed a heifer before 2 years old. Its usually good to have her calving at age 2. As far as the bull Im with farmer Rich "Eat Him". I AI myself its cheaper and you pick the traits you want, and you dont deal with BULLS.
