Vet said it was probably the tub so he gave me a couple shots to give directly into her rumen and some type of powder to put on grain. She seems to be alot better so I guess the tub just doesn't agree with her.

It is basically a liquid not much solid matter that is normal colored, no blood. Its not really smeared cause it never makes contact with her rear, it just squirts right on bye. She has been with the other cows for a long time and she is the only one with the problem. Haven't got close enough...

I have a cow that I just noticed to have the trots. We just switched the cows from dry pasture to bermuda hay and molasses tubs. Could the switch cause this or should I check her out? Oh and the rest of the cows which is nine of them don't seem to have the problem.

When you talk about the hernia, are you talking about the navel area. I have two cows that have navels just like that. Is that a bad thing?

Anybody have any experience with Positive Feed Tubs. We've been feeding their All-In-One 30% tubs. We've also used Vitalix products too. I know this is'nt my post but I figured while we're on the subject I'd ask for opinions.

I was just wondering what I need to do for one of my cows. Near her navel area there is always a bunch of flies. The spot is hairless and it is sometime bleeding a bit. She acts like it doesn't bother her but it looks like it would. What should I do?
