    Vita-Firm 5S is what you need for higher conception, they have several different kinds, Heat Heat/IGR, 5S with IGR, Plain vita-firm, They also have 5S with IGR.

    I have used VitaFerm for several years. What is more important than mineral content is BIOAVAILABILITY. Analysis is very important but if the chemical compound the mineral comes in is not BIOAVAILABILE, the mineral will be excreted from the cow. This is the way I understand it and agree 100%

    My cattle don't seem to use HI-Mag well I've been told it's bitter, I feel it's better for them to have a good mineral they will eat keep in to them all the time and you have no worries. The Vita-Firm is good stuff, I believe if you use it you won't be sorry.

    That’s what it is, vet wrote me a VFD and I went to Burkmanns and picked it up, and yes I put it on the feed, I feed 30 head 5# 2 times a day for 5 days.

    Anaplasmosis is the verdict, going to start treating them in the morning. He said he's seen 4 other farms with it in the last ten days must be getting bad around here.

    I talked to my vet this morning he suspects anaplasmosis, he’s coming to check things out. He told me he diagnosed a herd the other day with it, guess we will see after while. I just hope I can get it stopped.

    Here in ky most of my pasture is fescue and you know we have trouble with toxins. The heat mineral helps with that plus it has AMA-ferm in it which is a probiotic plus garlic and cinnamon to help with the flies, during breeding we use the concept-aid 5s which helps with breed back.
