    Bryan/College Station

Thanks for all the helpful advice. I have only been to Texas a handful of times, but anytime I get to travel I like to find local spots to eat and coming from Alabama where pork bbq is mainly served, I sure do enjoy an opportunity to get a good Texas brisket or beef rib.

    Bryan/College Station

Next month I will be traveling to Bryan to pick up a Gooseneck trailer. I know several of you are from the area, I am wanted some opinions on a good local bbq and or steakhouse. I may spend a night or two around the area so if there is anything you would recommend seeing I would appreciate...

    TAEP

I live in Alabama, not too far from Tennessee. I often see ads for bulls, equipment, and ect. that say TAEP certified or approved. Feeder futures

I think it stems from the cattle on feed report that was released Friday. There is supposedly 4% more cattle on feed than this time last year and it was predicted that it would be less than last year.

    Texas Trip Ideas

Thanks for all the excellent ideas. I had no idea Austin was such a yuppie town. I guess that is why it says keep Austin wierd? I have been to El Paso a few times when my brother was stationed there so this will all be new culture to me. We may need to reevaluate and look into staying longer...

    Texas Trip Ideas

My brother in law and I are planning a short trip to San Antonio/Austin, to celebrate his 30 birthday. It is kind of spur of the moment, but we will be flying into San Antonio staying one night then heading to Austin for two nights then flying back out of San Antonio. We will have a rental...

I hope that with cattle being at a record high there will be more vendors geared toward the industry.
