Zero!!!! I just couldn't pencil out most of the prices. That's why I'm asking. Do I need to sharpen my pencil or is money no big deal for quality? With a 3 calf guide you could have bought some. The average was $1950

    would you buy it?

Sorry for not being clear. It just seems like a hassle to have one young bull around. In this market you have to keep things uniform. With bull prices coming down you could ask around and find a good 5year old for not much more than market price. That way you know more of what your getting in...

    Ultrablack heifer be honest!!!!

That does make sense. I thought it had something to do with the cows ability to hold condition better and the ability to reach larger carcass weights in the feedlot.

    Ultrablack heifer be honest!!!!

The dams depth is not what I like to see but I thought the bull added some depth. :( For learning purposes!!! What are the benefits of depth in a working herd? Pros and cons on depth?

I don't know what you mean by the dam is rough?? I would like to see more depth on the dam as well and a little more on the heifer. The dam is 3 1/2 in the pic

It is a nice place to live. We are about 30min from Jackson. The last 3bulls and 4 cows we bought were from a breeder in Jackson.
