The seller will get his money back ten fold when people find out he stands behind his cattle, he is a great cattleman, and business man.

    Embryo Calves

Nice looking cows, and I like the pedigrees. How is the temperament on that line bred EXT cow?

Are the 1150-1200 pound cows reality or myth ?

I just had a young cow raise a 705 pound bull for her second calf, she weighed 1205 at weaning time. She will probably be in the 1400 to 1500 pound range when she matures. Have a heifer that just raised a 575 pound heifer, momma weighed 970 at weaning time, and she will probably mature at around...

That ones dam is out of the Univ Tn Plateau Exp Sta, Crossville TN, I'm wondering just what kind of experiments they are conducting up there?

    Baldies and freezer beef...

The Wagyu will give you better beef quality, higher marbling, and more tenderness. The Wagyu breed is a slower growing/maturing breed, and as stated, not much in the rear quarter. They do have close to the same size ribeye and other select cuts as an angus. Just depends on what you want for...

    Angus sire

We are just trying to help you out there buddy. If you are looking to use him for high quality beef, by all means go for it. But, if you are looking for exceptional females, I believe I would look somewhere else.

Now hold on, Doc said he was a "winner", so it must be so. :)

    Angus sire

Perhaps you should buy some cattle and use the sire before recommending him? My best cow has raised the best calf every year so far, and Ambush 28 was the worst calf she had. My best cows daughter out of Foresight will likely raise one of the best calves this year as well. I think I have done...

    angus bull

I wasn't impressed with him, the cleanup bull did just as good of a job.

    Angus sire

I used him and wasn't impressed with the heifer I got, she was out of my best cow and was smaller than normal. That wasn't the biggest issue, she was about half crazy, and we never caught her cycling. We ate her, that is where she shined, would grade Prime easily and the best flavor I have had yet.

    Weaning Weights

My registered black angus adjusted to 205 day weights have been running in the high 500 to mid 700 pound range, just depends on whether they are heifers or bulls, and which sires I use. This year I am using my Wagyu bull on some heifers, and my angus bull on a few cows, along with AI.

    bull picture?

I wouldn't worry too much about some of these folks, some of them think they know everything, and really don't know much. It's very likely that your black angus cows are red carriers judging by your sooner handle, Dynamo and his red carrier sons were used heavily in that part of the country.

    bull picture?

There are plenty of registered black angus that are red gene carriers. One of the most famous black angus bulls is a red carrier, Ankonian Dynamo.

What is your worst beef you ever eaten?

I just processed a 4 1/2 year old angus cow and she was great, very tender and plenty of flavor. The customers were very happy with it too. I do select for good quality meat when I buy or breed, could be the difference. I've had plenty of really crappy beef from the store and restaurants, it's...

    Unknow sire

I had a cow that was bred through the fence about a year and a half ago, happens all the time if you aren't careful.
