pulled 8 of 56 heifers so far this year. pulled 3 of 40 heifers last year and pulled 11 of 45 heifers theyear before. all were heifers, Ive never pulled one from a cow that was normal presentation to an Angus bull.

I saw some pairs a year or so ago and the calves were all sired by him. I was very impressed with the heifer calves. Made me think about useing him this year. What other bulls have yall seen that are proven and moderate framed with a bit less milk that you would use?

The Ideal Milk number is different for every environment and subject to forrage quality, quantity, and availability throught the year. For my part of the country I want a cow that matures at a 5 frame and 1200-1250# and the ideal Angus milk epd for me is 21-24. That milk epd would not be ideal...

I am not a Hereford breeder, just a commercial guy, but here is my take- I don't want to mess with horns. It's just one more thing to deal with that I hate, and I hate dehorning. I'll be even happier when they find a way to sell bulls that produce steer calves with no balls.

The reason I asked is the few photos I have seen of him aren't all that impressive. I can't find any videos. I have seen sons that I thought looked better than him, but with ought at least a video I just don't know. I have however seen some impressive daughters.
