    3 bred heifer photos

It must be cold where you live because your animals are quite wooly, but, your animals are all very pretty, I think that #1 is the best.

    Some longhorn-cross calves

The little calves are quite cute, and I am a bit surprised by the looks of the 4 months old, she is very pretty.

    Guernsey Murray Grey Cross

BB Jewel, the heifer, has always been my friend. She is the guernsey murray grey heifer that was born 4-23-12. This is when I knew that we would never want to spend to much time apart:

    Guernsey Murray Grey Cross

The two guernsey murray grey crosses still live on our ranch, for now. The heifer, BB Jewel, was born 4-23-12, and the so DS, was born on 4-1-11. Sadly, the mother did not breed back and she had to go last year. BB Jewel will probably stay in our herd for a LONG time since she has quite the...

    Replacement heifers

[i] I think that this last future replacement looks the best, but I would like to see her back end a bit more filled out and round, even at a yearling, (I am guessing that is how old she is) :D

    WANTED: Jersey Semen

I am looking a good looking and preferably "old world" jersey bull for my jersey heifer that will be AI'ed in about 10 months. Does anybody know a good place, or even have any semen of their own? If you do could you price how much that it would be per straw, and I picture? Thanks! Here is a...

    humor me challenge!

If it were me, I would get number 6, but before you buy him look for other stock.

    Rank these hereford bulls.

I like 120 the best because he is the deepest, but I like how masculine 124 is, if you could combine both you would have the almost perfect bull.

    Angus bulls (video)

I would have to agree with Backbone Ranch, he more soldily built all over his body that the other one was.

What combination of breeds made this heifer?

I think that she might be a tiger stripe.

    Silver crossbred heifers

To me it looks like the second cross bred calf might have some herford in her. Maybe not, but that is my opinion.

    Guernsey Murray Grey Cross

I was wondering if anybody might have some semen from an "old world" jersey bull for the jersey that is shown. If you do could you please reply and attach a picture of that bull? Thanks!

11 month old murray grey bull

I particuraly like the mother of the bull, she looks great in all direction, but you might want to try to work on her utter attachments a bit. The sire looks quite good, he is well muscled all around.

    3 week old bull calf

Backbone Ranch what is your photobucket name? You have such good animals that I would like to look at all of them. ;-)

    Guernsey Murray Grey Cross

I also have a jersey heifer that was bred by live cover this fall by a 7/8 Murray Grey and a 1/8 Angus bull. This first picture is of the bull at 18 months: OK Apache The next photo is of the jersey heifer when she was a yearling.

    Guernsey Murray Grey Cross

Over the last two and a half years, I have had two calves from the same guernsey cow (Dessie) and the same Murray Grey bull (OK Boomer), but they look completly different. You wouldn't even guess that they are related. The first picture is of their mother: Dessie. The second is of her son, a 2...
