Those are out there, but you still need to tax stamp to be legal. People are making "solvent traps", but I'd rather pay the $200 and be legal. The spin on filters do work though.

Yep. I built a 30cal one using the freeze plug method. I didn't use the Maglite tube as I don't like having to seal off the switch hole. SD Tactical sells tubes already cut and threaded for use with the freeze plug and is what I used.

    50 mm Objective ?

Bigger objective won't help nearly as much as a bigger tube will. Both together will make twilight look like daylight.

300BLK is basically a 30-30 in a semi auto platform with more magazine capacity. Subsonic and suppressed, it is a very quite and a very effective 30caliber round. Eventually I will get a thermal scope for piggys at night. Suppressed, you only hear the action cycling.

I don't know that specific brand, but polymer AR uppers and lowers aren't my cup of tea. I've read to many articles of various brand polymer lowers/uppers failing. The American Tactical Omni Hybrid is a metal reinforced polymer upper/lower, which to me doesn't make sense. Why not just go metal...

This is my 3rd build (2 300blk and 1 223) and I have a couple stripped lowers waiting. You can get an Anderson stripped lower for $55. This Aero Precision lower I got from Rocky Mountain Reloading as a blemish and there's nothing blemished about it. I think my next build will be a 458socom.

Wrapped up my latest build, AR-15 SBR in 300BLK. Aero Precision lower, upper, and free float handguard, 8.5" 300BLK barrel from TR Enabling, Red Jacket Firearms buttstock, and Trijicon MRO sight. The handguard covers the barrel by 1/2", but the muzzlebreak for the suppressor sticks out past the...

Not all trusts are created equal due to State requirements, but mine is the same. My trustees are only named in the trust with no personal information like their address. However, all trusts are treated the same by the ATF. The term the ATF uses in their ruling is "responsible parties" which is...

Latest information I have gotten is that the ATF is saying they will retain photographs and fingerprints of trustees for 2 years and use those as long as the list of trustees on the trust has not changed.

Yea. You make up your own all numerical serial number and have it engraved or etched into the tube though. For example, my serial number is "001" and my model is "0".

kenny, I'm build my own 308 for less than $200, not counting the tax stamp. It is based on the maglite system, but using a pipe tube without the switch to cover up. The only suppressor I plan to buy is one for 22lr and even then that one will be $200 less the tax stamp. Only reason I'm buying...

Got 6 months before the new requirements take effect. Fingerprints for everyone now and no CLEO signoff for everyone. I did my first Form 1 last weekend and latest I heard was 4-6 months approval time. http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2016/0 ... -sign-off/

Anyone in the Texas area know of some cheap cull/doe meat hunts?

    Silent but Deadly

As long as they are of legal age and can legally possess a firearm, it can be anyone. They do not even have to be in the same state. If trustees are out of state, it just complicates getting the signatures some. Once the trust is signed though, nothing needs signature again unless the trust is...

    Silent but Deadly

Haven't bought one yet kenny. I just got my trust setup. I went the trust route so that I can have trustees who are allowed to be in legal possession of the NFA item, and to allow the NFA items to be transferred easily once I pass on. The $200 stamp papers is also quicker with the trust compared...

My NFA trust is nearly complete. Papers are done and now I just need trustee and notary signatures. Time to start shopping for suppressors.

6 one way and half a dozen the other way. If the initial investment cost less, then there is less money required to recover. Me personally, I'd rather make four $300 purchases than one single $1200 purchase. I buy/build for functionality not for collectors value. That said, I would personally...

$199 for complete assembled upper and you add BCG and CH: http://daytonatactical.com/collections/ ... ing-handle Are you reading my post as $199 complete with BCG and CH? If so, that is incorrect. $199 is the assembled upper only. You would add in $89.95 for BCG and CH from Daytona Tactical.
