Little Emily was born at 5:00am this morning and hit the ground running! This is the first heifer for the mom, she's always had bulls before so I'm super excited. Weighed 100# and 6 days overdue.

ya she's been about 10 days late the last two years....not fun waiting

So my best cow is due March 6 and I don't want to wait that long! She's only given us bulls so I'm really hoping it's a heifer and it comes early. Anyone want to guess when she'll calve?

I have a registered heifer that wouldn't take with A.I. (tried many times), had the vet check her-she was normal, tried hormones - didn't work, and then took her to a bull where she took and now she's due in April (she'll be 3) so I would try a bull before you give up.
