Well he is obviously a good guy to deal with....he offered to take the open heifer back. If it would have been me, I would have made my decision on who did the palpation, a vet who issued health papers to that effect or someone else who thinks they know how to palpate.

Just passing on info for anyone that wants it....Flushed a cow last week using sexed semen and received 3 grade 1's out of 8 total the other 5 were not fertile. Same cow last year did 7 of 8.

I know it cost more, but if your willing to spend the money can you get comparable results using more straws?

I know sexed semen is not recommended for flushing, but why can't you just use more semen and get good results?
