MF 20C industrial Power Steering issue

Well I no longer have the tractor as i am trying to move up to a four wheel drive. But the fix: I had to rebuild the two steering cylinders on the front wheels a second time, this time made sure that all (key note) orings and seals were replaced. Then it made it about 98% better. So combining...

    5410 Rebel Baler

Sir Hurleyjd, We had the same issue but found that there are two rollers that you can adjust for this tracking issue. 1. Front top of baler and top rear of baler is a roller that can be adjusted up or down to control left or right tracking. I will look in the manual to find the exact number of...

    Vermeer 5410 Cone Shaped Bales

We have the 5410 and were experiencing the same issue, spoke with Vermeer and a few others and found the remedy to the issue. Noticed a big difference when my dad or I am running the baler. Broken Record: Really good advice from the other posts #1 Windrow adjustment to either 4ft to fill up...

MF 20C industrial Power Steering issue

I am throwing something out there and would like some thoughts from the masses. Finally got a second tractor to help out with on the farm- mainly for hay season. I have a Massey Ferguson 20C Industrial tractor (almost like a 245) with a power steering issue. It will not steer to the left unless...

Vermeer 5410 Rebel or New Holland BR740

One of the best decisions that we have made for equipment was buying a Vermeer 2009 5410 baler. We have a Ford 3230 (38 hp) and found this baler to be easier on our tractor than a Heston 530. Good and tight bales, easy for maintenance, and will swallow up the hay like a catfish. We use plastic...

    Ford F250 Limited Slip 4x4?

I got so mad got out of the truck while it was still spinning ( i know that was stupid but it was the only way to validate the two passengers were the only tires spinning). Verified this two times. Mileage is 220K. I went to Ford today and found: You were right about the front diff not having a...

    Ford F250 Limited Slip 4x4?

I have not yet priced the factory rebuild, will be doing that tomorrow. I am not an expert but from what I understand the lock can go in both front and rear. I know the something is not working correctly, got stuck again today in my driveway (snow and ice still) right front and rear spinning...

    Ford F250 Limited Slip 4x4?

Well, I have a question for the many people on here who love getting stuck in the mud and snow. :) I have a 2000 Ford F250 with the dash switch for 2h, 4h, 4L and my hubs have the manual option of "auto, lock". I have noticed that when I have trouble (getting stuck and spinning) is that i have...

    Round baler suggestions?

Okay, got to ask why you think that? After looking into this for a year and going into the field and watching several different brands, several different types of forage, and several different auctions (to see what was holding the price), i chose the best option. Super glad i made that choice...

    Round baler suggestions?

My two cents worth is to get a Vermeer. We bought a Vermeer 5410 Rebel and it has changed our complete outlook on baling. It has the options for string or netwrap as with many others. Easy to use, maintain, work on (as with any baler there will be issues). But i did not know what it was like to...

    Colored Round Bale Twine

Well done some chasing and found that the New Holland dealers here in ET do not carry the blue twine. Also found that Tractor Supply shows some "Texas Twister" online (not available to buy) and shows up to be in the stores, but all stores here carry orange and supposedly cannot order. Might have...

    Colored Round Bale Twine

Thanks, yes the twine is from Tractor supply simply because it was $28. Where are you buying the blue?

    Silly Question??

Made the transition myself from 1/2 ton gas to 3/4 diesel. Could not believe the difference in pulling and stability. That said a friend of mine took his 1/2 ton gas and beefed up his suspension/ brakes in front and back and added a gooseneck hitch. Loves it for pulling cattle and small...

    Colored Round Bale Twine

Does anyone on here use any colored round bale twine? I use the plastic orange twine on our bales and notice it is sometimes hard to see. So I thought about looking into the different colors available. Any suggestions?

    New holland 615 mower

We paid $6200 for ours new in 2007. The mower is spot on, easy to maintenance, easy to operate, and super dependable. I would buy a second one, and will now that I have a second tractor. Check each individual pod for fluid is my only suggestion.

We run a NH615 on a Ford 3230 (37hp) and do not have any issues. Great mowers but heavy.
