I also own a 6.0 4x4, though I do love the power and throttle response, I too long to own a diesel. The costs are much higher but the next truck I buy will be a powerstroke. Even though it wont pay off until beyond 100k miles, I truly believe I'll drive it for well beyond 10 -15yrs or so...

I've got a 99HD ext cab 4x4, cant get 14mpg to save my life. It does pull like a bat outahe// though. Love the sound and response of the gas engine. It has been a great truck, 13mpg rain or shine is what i've come to accept.

So how much do you all devote each month to your rig? I am at 450.00

just curious, but what kind of gas mileage do any of you get in your diesels. im interested in a crew 4x4 ford, so any replies on that particular truck and its perf, ride, mpg are appreciated. thanks.
