    I have used the Markys on Black Angus cows with tremendous luck. They are very hardy,easy calving & high rate of gain.The Marky/Angus females I have kept are making excellent replacements.Have these replacements bred to a fullblood polled Limo Bull for 2007.

    I found the Marky to be very easy calving(used on cows & hef's). Calves are very quick to get up & going, start muscling up at two-three weeks of age.From what I saw at the White Moosh Ranch croossbred cows seem milk very well with very good udders.I found the info on Marchigiana.org to be true...

    Marky hair color is recessive.

    Calves are black out of black cows, the occasional red or tan calf from the red gene carrier cow. Calves are generally same color as their mothers.
