I agree completely..... I had a SimAngus heifer back in January that weighed 52 lbs..... She's got great confirmation and pedigree but it just takes them too long to catch up to an 85-87 lbs new born calf (as well as the survival concerns)

Everything. I don't think anything went for under $5000. I went to $5,000 to $6500 for weaned heifers and still couldn't get one bought. They said they are staying in the cattle business before the sale. I guess Red Angus to Simmental.

How about Express Ranch bull's? Isn't anybody using them?

Does anybody know why they are getting out? Their one of the top Angus (show) breeders in the industry. Some amazing donors and offsprings selling that day. Anybody going?
