    New LGD Pup

Oh yes HD, I am prepared for her becoming BIG! Angel is a medium sized Pyr female..I weighed her when I first got her, when she was terriably thin, at 80 pounds. Bet she's pushing 100 now..gaining weight nicely..but I do think Halo will be bigger then her. Her mother was smaller..but her dad...

    crazy neighbor

Very common..While I don't doubt ADHD could happen in dogs..(I truly think my Border Collie is a touch OCD..)..I think, just like in children, it is a commonly used excuse..

    Poor Sam

My vote goes for aliens..they needed cake to power their world destroying ray gun and Sam, being the heroic, self sacrificing dog that he is..ate the cake to save earth.. Ive heard this story before from my dogs..except replace cake with 4 pounds of hamburger..

What wormer are you using on your aussie?

looks like aussies are most common..interesting info..:) I've heard of many a dog eating horse crap, right after the horse was wormed, and getting sick from ivermectin poisioning..and these were not herding dogs..my thought is..the breeds you posted are simply more sensitive to even a slight...

What wormer are you using on your aussie?

There is a test now where you can test your dog to see if they carry the mutated gene. I have been told it's most commonly associated with border collies and the percentage of those with it are actually quite low. The test is, from what I remember, alittle on the expensive side..I keep my two...

Angel the guardian, sheep, and border collies-pics

The hayrings are horse ring yokes and then steel rings..heavier then anything, but they hold up really well..I have a cow who thinks it's fun to jump in bale feeders..she cant do it with this type of ring.

Yes, we are..Im afraid it may be alittle to late..but tromping thru muck and puddles is a good thing either way. :) I got the sheep for my border collie to work..and then the flock grew. I actually like them better then my cattle...alot less labor intensive. ;) that shed my husband built for...

Coyotes and various other uninvited critters..beware...

I tell ya hillsdown, I looked at ALOT of different breeds..the big ones in my area were Pyr, Akbash and Anatolian..I just "like" the Pyr's..something about them..they also seemed to be the most "easy going" of the three, in regards to other dogs and people..still good guardians though. my big...
