    Sharpening Bush hog blade

Last weekend I helped my dad with his...he has a 3 pt hitch - he took the blades off to sharpen. He doesn't have a front-end loader, so it worked better for him to do it that way.

    NH 276 Baler knotter/cutter question

I've seen the little scraps, too. Not anything to get worried about. Just like cfpinz said, keep it greased, in the dry, and you should be fine.

are the parts interchangeable with Ford?

    New Holland TN75

seems like the problems i remember from the newer series were mostly electronic. I remember some problems with the 16x16 transmissions; you had to reset the clutches every so often and stuff...it wasn't a big deal or anything.

    New Holland TN75

Does it have the easy forward and reverse lever? Shuttle speed? That one option will save you so much clutching and grabbing for the gearshift(s). Some NH are crap; some are great machines. Seems like if I remember right after the TS series, I wasn't as impressed with their durability. I...

My truck is stuck in the mud any ideas how to get it out?

The pilot probably would crash with that much white being reflected and all. Dun uses his google-eyed heifer for his rescue-help, and the pilots aren't blinded by that. ;-)

    Cotter pins

I guess it's kinda like that assortment of grease fittings - there are always two or three that you use and the other jillion fittings just get in the way. Why is it that sometimes all you want is a 9/16" but can only find a 5/8"? Oh, and the nail for the cotter pin - yep. Been there, done...

    New Holland 462 Disc Mower

I can't remember if this model separates by sections on the cutter bar, or if you have to take the whole thing apart to look inside it. If it's made like a NH 1411 discbine, you'll be able to take the 'turtleshells' off (sounds like they're gone already) and then unbolt section by section- on...

Kentucky - legal width of farm equip on public roads?

According to the KY DOT page, it looks like 8'6" is the limit. It's kind of hard to tell if that includes anything sticking out - I think it does. http://transportation.ky.gov/

    Cold weather project

Flaboy, Nice basket. I've always thought it'd be nice to have two five-gallon bucket holders on a front or back rack. Seems like the gravity bed wagon is always too many steps from the feed troughs. The basket would work well for lots of things though.

    Post Drivers

When I saw it in person, I tried to flip the arm thingy around - I thought it was pretty stout. Maybe I was weak that day. :) However, I haven't seen any other brands - Shaver seems to be the popular one in our area. The arm was spring-loaded, from what I remember. I remember thinking that...

    Post Drivers

I have seen the newer Shavers with the swing-around-thingy that holds the post... they look good. I've used one like what you describe, cfpinz. And my complaints are exactly as you describe. You think you've got it set, then it moves again. We had to find a short toplink- anything to...
