I cut 33ac. of Costal on Monday and 30 ac. on Tue. To day i baled the 33 ac. I got 31 bales. Check the mosture and it was 20% or less so I think I am o. k. I will try and bale the 30 ac. tomorrow. The Army Worms are every where around me. Maybe it does pay to have your own equipment.

Just got through baleing 33 ac.of costal. It produced 200 round bales, they are 4X5 bales. Also baled 15 ac. of sudan it produce 39 bales. This was it secound cutting. Still have about 60 ac. of costal to cut. Hope they produce as well. Looks like i will have some to sale.

The dought is good for being able to see catus and mequest.(sp) I was checking cows this moring after mixing 15 gallens of Remdy and Surmound for spraying. When i got to the pastrue on 4 wheeler i could see a lot of little mesqust(sp) and some catus. Sure made it easy to see and spray.

Got through seperating calves form cows. This is before we put the bulls in. We pull the calves for 24 hrs. before we put the Bulls in. This seems to bring the cows in season sooner. The bulls will be in for 63 days. We expect our cows to calve in 45 days. This gives more time before the bulls...

Does any one pull thier calves off 24 hrs. before putting in thier bulls. I have been doing it for about 3 yrs. twice a year. It seems to bring the cow in season. I calved 32 out of 35 in 29 days in sept. Just wondered if any one else ever did this. I got it from a old rancher alot of years ago.
