    No horns here. Especially the jerseys, since they are the ones handled daily. But non on the beef herd has them either. Why have them when they could cause injury to you and the other cows. Keeping horned cattle is just lazy if you ask me. You got realy lucky you were not seriously injured...

    NEVER heard of anything jersey not having enough milk. My jersey x angus do not look loke that one. My first calf heifers will raise 2 calves at a time. This is a bad representation of the cross. Ohhh, and by the look of her tits, Id say she was not first calf heifers...

    Im with hillsdown here. You probably got breother and sister (twins). Meaning she in a freemartin.... Anyways, you should probably keep them out of the wind as well. And make sure you dont overfeed them! Good luck and keep us posted...

    Buying Bred Heifers

    Bought a 4 year old a week before christmas that vet checked in at 4 months bred. She had a really nice heifer the day after christmas....he was only 5 months off! I would say this heifer is closer than the vet thinks! Good looking heifer too..... good luck with her and let us know what happens!
