    Oats in feed ration?

    We had a 4-H steer this year that bloated quite frequently. I say had because he just visited the locker plant this morning. My question is more for the future...The feed ration had a fairly high percentage of oats in it and I am wondering if that can cause bloat or add to the chances of it...

    Stubborn prospect - ideas?

    Keep working with him...he will learn to trust you and the kids... I don't know anymore than that...the more time you spend with him with a brush or comb or just scratching on him the better he will get.
