    93 Ford 7.3 diesel

Darned if the Chevy isn't sold! There is a 92 Ford F250 in the same paper as the Chevy was in. It's got 30K original miles on it. It was used a snow plow truck for a church and supposedly thats the only time it was driven to speak of. Only thing it has a little 302 in it....

    93 Ford 7.3 diesel

It has an auto tranny in it. Think I will pass it up since I am not really up to the challenge of putting a 5 spd in it. I'll keep looking around some. I did find an 88 chevy 1 ton with a 350 4 spd manual in it. Its a single axle 4x4. I may go look at it if the guy gets back to me.

    93 Ford 7.3 diesel

Can anyone tell about a 93 F250 with a 7.3 deisel engine? Looking for a farm/beat around truck to haul some hay with and the occasional tractor or other semi heavy load with. Won't be using it much for hauling, mostly running to the farm store and such for feed ect. I called about one today...

    Horses for Dog Food?

I suppose if you keep your dogs penned up all the time and had a way to preserve the meat you could feed it to them. I am guessing you have alot of dogs. If you have hunting dogs I would not even consider it. I'm not sure how you plan on feeding this animal to your dogs but if you are...

    Help with New Holland Baler

Well C&C I think you were correct in your diagnosis of the baler. After having a guy look at it he said it appears to be out of time, although not much but enough to mess things up. That is out of my arena so its off to the dealership for repairs I suppose. Thanks for your response!!

    Help with New Holland Baler

It is in time that was the first thing I checked after replacing the twine tooth cam shaft. I checked the hay dog springs also and they are all good, no sign of the hay dogs coming up to far. Back to the drawing board. Thanks for the reply!

    Help with New Holland Baler

I have an old new holland 277 hayliner that I bought this past summer very cheap. The problem I have with it is it keeps bending the rack. Put a new one in and it bent it right away. When I first got the baler it did tie about 30 bales before it quit. Thats when I found the old rack was...

What horse deservse to be a Mare?

I second what clampitt said. I don't know anything about breeding horses but when breeding dogs there are several different theories. One is that each contributes 50% to the off spring. The other is that the bitch carries the pups from the day they are concieved until birth and then until the...

new here, breeder of tennessee walking horses

We had TWH when I was a kid. We used them for pointing dog field trials. Had to have something smooth being on them all day and something that would move out to keep up with the big running pointers. They are great horses. I have arabians now but someday will have another TWH.

    horse question

TR one of mine is a polish and she is the the calmer one the other is a straight egyptian and alot more aware of her surroundings. Both very nice horses but totally different personalties. The Egyptian is more "typical" Arab looking and is a beautiful horse. You sound like a recording, I have...

anyone ever been on a run away horse?

Oh I wouldn't say if you have never been on a run away horse you have not ridden enough. My father in law rode for 70 years and only had a couple run aways. I've fallen off, been kicked ect. Don't enjoy any of it anymore. Takes to long to recover now....

anyone ever been on a run away horse?

Yeah I guess I kind of lump it all in to one. First having a horse take off on you, then falling off, and finally being drug when your foot hangs in the stirup! How about those break away stirups you see advertised? That and a whole lot of toilet paper place in stratigic areas!

    horse question

Thats my horses EXACTLY to a tee! One day it was real windy 40-50 mph winds and my farrier was scheduled that day. When he got there I told him we would need to reschedule because that wind was absolutely driving them insane! I have also noticed that if a strange person is in the barn they...

anyone ever been on a run away horse?

That's what I was wondering, what made the horse run. The older I get the more "mortal" I realize that I am! 20 years ago this would not have bothered me but the older I get the longer it takes for things to heal!
