    I got some pigs

Stay on the 505 until 130 lbs then you can switch to finisher (#517) from 130lbs to market weight. Co-op also has a feed through pig wormer (#534).

    Cattle Tags

Me too. Just save some time down the road and give the calf a permanent # on a cow sized tag now then you dont have to worry about it later on.

The only time I don't like a ford

If you have to replace front-end parts, go with Moog parts. I get mine at o'reily's and they have a lifetime warranty on them. That way if they ever go out again just have to go in and swap out for new ones.

Stock trailer floor non slip question

I haul cattle and horses in mine and my wife (horse owner) was adamant about not having a cattle pannel in it so i put 1 x 2's and screwed them down in an X pattern. __ IXI I did one of these in each section of the trailer.

To Fence or Not To Fence?

I guess i should've made myself more clear, there is already a half-a$$ three strand fence around the "pasture" and i have already replaced the parts around my house and down the driveway, just wondering if I should go ahead and fix the rest of it. TNTuxedo, There are several similar sized...

To Fence or Not To Fence?

I am thinking about selling my place and I am in the process of cleaning it up. Do y'all think it would sell better as a house and 10 ac and no fence or as a house and 10 ac with a nice new hi-tensile fence around it? When I bought it, it had a half-a$$ three strand loose and crooked barb wire...

Most you have A.I.'d in a day....

I bred 18hd in December in 1hr. I was breeding and loading the sweep tub (4hd at a time), had 1 man working the chute, and 1 man loading guns for me. I have bred as many as 50-60 in a couple of hours with 2 of us breeding and 1 man on the chute. I can generally do 15/hr all by myself.

    low sale barn count--bad sign?

I assume you're talking about Dickson two weeks ago. The reason the had so few was because of the weather. And if you look at the market reports, 100 - 300 hd is average for this time of year.

    Feed Concerns

I work at a farm store and was able to get some molded horse feed, molded calf starter, and out-dated alfalfa and timothy cubes. As i said, the feed was molded and out dated. Just wondering if there should be any concern with mixing this and feeding to cattle. Thanks
