Nice looking horse. He doesn't look bad. I agree with winter setting in soon he'll that little extra. Be careful what kind of horse feed you give him during the winter so he doesn't lose to much.
Has anyone tried a lasagna garden? I could use a few pointers. I started one seems to be going fine. Do I need to shift the compost in it?? I have heard yes and no. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Yes GMN, that's great to hear. I have had a friend from about the age of 8 we stay in touch to through the internet. I don't have that many friends either so the ones I make I cherish with all my heart.
Yes, good friends are few and far between. But when you get one you need to hang on to that person and treat them just as good back. Friendship is a two way street.
I'm with saving the mountain gorillas. They only do what is natural to them. Protect their young, and love. Just what we as human beings do in the civilized world, if that's what you want to call it.
Wow! I didn't realize to I looked at this thread that it has been almost two months since last posting. Do you have a new foal yet, or when is she due? Can't wait to see.
I would grind the flax seed before you give it to the horse and mix it with the grain. It works better ground, the system absorbs it better and won't waste out.
Very nice pics. your horses are beautiful. Does the previous owner come by often to see he his doing?? Sorry to hear you had to get him because of a tornado.
Congratulations on not listening to your vet and saving your horses life. All you had to do was change the horse feed. Wow, have you told your vet yet? What was his reaction? Kudos to you for saving the horses life.
