Incidentally, the big brush pile in the background of the 7th photo was burned a few weeks ago…it was about 150’ long and as tall as 12-14 feet in places…just noticed that

Mixture on the cows, anywhere from 900-1450. When I sold the bull he was 1750 at 3 years old. Can understand the smaller calves out of the smaller cows. Just had that 1 dink calf I have talked about before, was 150lbs at 6 months and it was out of one of the smaller cows got rid of her. Gave her 1 to many chances. Hard to cull when the herd size is so small but need to be a little more harsh on them. Have one with long back toes right now, calves are so high I don’t want to get rid of her right before she calves, but I should be culling for feet.
