    Remitall

I would say that Star Lake has been the new breed leader with polled genetics for a while based on the broad spectrum of genetics that they offer and the depth of their herd and embryo program. Shutting down the border had to be a "killer" for Remitall. On the horned side, folks like Holden...

    Bellis Sale (Herefords in Missourri)

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts about the cattle. In particular, the Stewart bull is of interest. He has some outstanding #'s and pretty high accuracy. Thanks, Jeff

    Remitall Total Dispersal

I received mine on Thursday; didn't see any birth announcements.

    Remitall Total Dispersal

Sorry, it is in the April HW "Focus on Females" issue.

    Remitall Total Dispersal

Ad is on pages 22 & 23. Selling over 1,000 head including the entire herd sire battery, as well as semen, embryos and semen interests in Online, Keynote, Governor, et al. The ad made no mention of the Angus herd, which is not necessarily a surprise with the advertisement being the HW.

    Remitall Total Dispersal

This may belong on the sales board but I saw their ad in this month's HW and was really surprised. Does anyone know what the story is behind the dispersal? I knew that they had partnered with Grandview when the border was shut down, so I guessed that if they sold, Grandview would buy them out...

    Hereford AI Book

I thought the same thing about Gerber Vision. I really had not noticed his breeding until last night. He looks pretty good as well.

I agree with all of the recommendations. From the younger bulls, I would add HCC Legacy and H Easy Deal just because I liked their phenotype so much in Ft. Worth. Also, I like the muscle and udder quality of the Online breeding in a more moderate package.

    SEXED SEMEN!

We are probably still 5 - 10 years away from having widespread availability of affordable sexed semen. As a commercial cattleman, should you begin implementing 100% immediately in preparation so that you'll have your breeding systems perfected when the time comes? What happens to the purebred...

I think it went for $285 a straw.

GH Rambo / Ft. Worth Pictures

For what it is worth, I agree completely with George. Other than horns and being a bit too big for my tastes, I thought he was an extremely impressive bull. Only other thing I would add is that he's a little straight on his back legs but, I thought he moved really well.

Just looked like dark hair to me.

Rambo is a little too big for my tastes but, you've really got to admire a bull with that much mass that moves as well as he does. Other than his frame, I thought Rambo is a little post-legged. Otherwise, pretty solid. For what it is worth, his progeny looked pretty good as well. In my...
