I have a 10 year old Hereford that is due to calve in March. The Vet said she has Cancer eye, and that there's nothing more he can do for her. If she last long enough to calve that will be great.After that my question is will she be safe to eat or should I bury her.Thanks.

I have a 28" wide alley way 8' long leading to the headgate, My Blue Mule headgate in the wide open position is about 24" wide, I just bought a 8 year old Hereford cow that i want to A.I. next month, I'm not sure what the cow weights, but just looking, there is no way that cow is going to fit in...

I have a followup question, How long should the cow & calf be separated, and can I put them back together again in a few days, or how ever long ya'll think, or should I keep them separated until the cow calves in March.
