What amount of corn or cattle mix does everyone feed in winter to cows to keep conditions good?

yea was going to cull. so steaks not be good?

ill add another question. got a bull that is 3 we will probably get rid of this summer. could i beef him as is or need to trim him first. how is the beef on a bull? Thanks.

ok ill throw this in here. on a older cow i just took she was 5 or 6. i was going to just do burger, but would the brisket be good on her?

how does it save more by rolling out? i would like to see more pics of the feed pad. i need something i end up in a muddy mess. thought about dropping rolls off in pasture at different locations to spread that manure around by the professionals.

how hard is it to get the loan? did you get a loan for more than covered the cows?

The corn is $400 for 100 bushels. The feed is 220 a ton.

What would be better feed option. Whole corn on the cob ground up vs a 11% feed option at a feed mill?

thanks for all the info we feed hay and ground corn. also put out loose mineral. dont have a lot of options local for getting tubs unless you go with a box store.

Wanting to see what everyone’s options are on them. What are the positives and negatives for using protein tubs? Timing wise when should they be used, more in winter or summer, all year? What are some good ones to use? Are the ones at TSC or Rural King worth the money? Thanks.
