What would be better feed option. Whole corn on the cob ground up vs a 11% feed option at a feed mill?

What are you feeding ? The ground ear corn will only be around 7-8% protein but will be high in energy. The mill feed will have more protein but may not have as much energy.

Ground ear corn is a fantastic feed, but 8 - 9% protein (max) so you'll need to add something such as ddg or soymeal to
make it comparable to the 11% mix from the feed mill.
Does the mill mix have any added vitamins or minerals ect.?
What is the cost per ton of the mill mix?

Before you do anything see if the feed mill will give you a copy of the formulation on their feed.
