    Pull two rakes

Yes, I have been doing this for many years, I have two of these bridge hitches, one I made from an old tractor wide front end and the other a bought hitch. I use NH258 and NH260 rakes to put two windrows together. They work great, the only downfall is no one but me can rake with them as you must...

Direct cutting grass with a 5830 SPFC

I have a old ridged 13' Deere platform I use for small grain harvest, and a adaptor plate for my 5830 to put my corn head on for earlage. My question is, if I marry these three pieces together can I direct cut Reeds Canary grass or will it not feed into the chopper? Any other Ideas? TIA.

    Vermeer baler model

I currently have a neighbor bale about 200 5-6 corn stalk bales for me for bedding. The last three years he's doing a poor job, from not showing up after making arrangements in advance, to having breakdowns to this year baling at an excess speed leaving 50% of the stalks laying in the windrow on...

    Trees in the fence

Due to an elderly previous owner and a lazy tenant I have a lot of cedar trees and thorn trees growing up in fence lines. Fences are all 4&5 barb and cattle tight but will soon be junk if I don't remove the trees. What I want to do is walk along with a branch lopper or battery powered saw and...

Our first attempt at AI (Uno Mas)

We bought a few Ai bred regesterd heifers in 2017 to UnoMas one of which turned out to be a bull calf so we didn't steer him to use on heifers, well he is a PEST! I told the wife to stop scratching on him he's going to hurt someone. He means no harm, but gets very pushy with that poll of his. I...
