It depends on if the vet wants to teach you something or just do their job and get their cheque. I have a vet that dosen't want to teach me anything, so i have not called him in two years. over 90% of the time the vet is late or in a hurry so the animal ends up dying anyways. I have a 3000 head...

We use 17 ga galvanized wire with a 18 joulue 110 volt fencer, work great but we only use it for winter grazing so it get's rolled up every year if not twice a year.It's good for 4-5 years.

Sunlight is a good cure for the crap too.

I am sure that they will gain weight, how much i don't know. But I would asume that they would eat between 40-60 lbs of silage depending on what breed they are. sorry i can't help out more.

What is the dry matter percentage of you silage? At 50% moisture they should eat 50 lbs at least.

Looks Good! I think a new one like that would be 2500 for sure, we spent 3500 on our hihog squeeze with no transport. P.S Those headgate cables and fingers don't mix.

looks like maybe a ground that melted..........so probably not a good thing. You could pull it off and see if the gear is jammed.

Spread it out on a baking sheet, sprinkle some brown sugar on it and throw it in the oven, not too crispy and not too sloppy JUST RIGHT.
