I'm going through this same thing myself. We found two surveyors the first one came in with a ridiculous number and the second came in about a third of what the first was. The seller has an obligation to prove what he is selling and so the survey costs should fall to him.

where Im at water is at about 125ft out on the desert it may be 350-500ft down. The windmills would still be able to lift that? maybe it is just cost prohibitive? Then again people truck water out to those areas, it would seem a windmill would soon pay for itself.

I have to agree that ABS is the place to go. ABS also has got the best rounded out lineup.
