Young steer - what do you think?

Steer calf is 4 months old. 3/4 Maine - 1/4 Angus
On winter pasture with the rest of the herd and no creep feed.

Has potential but if i where you i would start to creep if possible. From the side profile he looks good and with a cnice clip job he'll be a contender :D

I think he looks really good. He has nice balance and with some feed in him he should pack on some muscle. IMO he should grow up strong.

Looks good kinda leggy for me but normal at that age. do you have a weight? Let the feeding begin!

do you have a weight?

We have not weighed him. We used a weight tape on him and some other calves we have. Based on that, I suspect he is 300-350 now.
