I just got a book a few months back and just got time to read it, its called YOOU CAN FARM By: Joel Salatin! I am halfway through it but its a great read and has alot of info about Running Cattle and Chickens both and I recommend it to any new Farmer/Rancher. I would say its a 8 out of 10. The only other book I can say was just as good was Storey's Guide to Raising Beef Cattle.. That one was a 9 of 10 it was more informative about Cattle then the other. The Joel Salatin Book YOU CAN FARM was more on getting into farming/ranching and turning a small profit. Both books were great, I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a book on cattle!
