A couple of you knew the wife had been undergoing chemo since May and yesterday she got her most recent PET scan results. They cleared her and put her on an every four month blood test. Pretty nice Christmas present at our house.

Every victory against cancer is monumental. Cancer will affect almost everyone. My son did cancer research, he says there are some quantum leaps being made in cancer treatment. There is nothing that can be done to prevent cancer from occurring other than avoiding carcinogens, but there is a lot going on in cancer treatment. That is wonderful news.
 
Thank you! Yes, definitely the best present we could have ask for. She found out 10 years ago she had this type of cancer and knew it was very slow growing and easy to watch. The numbers finally crept up to where she needed treatment. Sure nice to leave it behind.
