I just picked up an old Yazoo lawnmower at an auction for $50

a days work and some new belts and it runs like a top.. really handy rig too, can go close to trees and edges nicely, and turns darned sharp too... built like a brick $(*&house too with 1/8th plate throughout.

Knew a guy once, who was a collector of sorts for yazoo mowers. I'm big on having a nice yard. I used to really admire, how smooth his mowers cut.

Those, in the days before zero turns, were the King of the Lawnmowers. Reliability and quality was unquestioned.
I have an old Johnson built along the same lines that I need to drag out and do some carb work on, but it's problem was, that it was to heavy to easily push and too slow to follow behind when in self powered mode.

this thing moves along pretty good, especially in high gear, low could be a little slower for the stuff I'm doing. It's just so much nicer to have a machine dedicated to the yard work than having to hitch something onto the tractor every time you want to clean a little spot up. I might put the front tires of a riding mower on the seat-trailer.. that gets a little rough after a while

it has some little footpegs on it... I found it nicer to sit on than stand, especially when going under fruit trees.

I think you'd get close to fitting a 12 pack in there.. I know I'd run out of fuel before beer!
