This has been a great year for turkeys. We have a flock of 60 birds that group up on one place. This year we are seeing multiple groups of 20+ young birds. It is really going to help add to the flock.
CB probably has those Eastern Turkeys. Parks and Wildlife has been trying to get them reestablished for quite a while now. All we have are the Rio Grande turkeys.

Had a small flock lived on my place for years until Rita.
The only place I know that they are thriving is the Bannister WMA in Sabine county.
