We are just getting that greenish tinge to our grass - cows still on hay but they like to wander after eating and pretend to graze. I'll be glad to be done feeding, so will they.

Those pics are what would put a smile on any cattleman/cattlewoman's face! Congrats!

Grass is starting to show a wee bit here, but it'll be another month or so (until the silage pit is empty) before we put our calves out. And same here Victoria, calves are "pretending" to graze (at least our front herd ;-) )

Heck, we are just now getting some decent greening down here. We went a new record of 41 days without rain. This coming out of winter doesn't make for a early start.
