Game 1 was sure a good one. Its going to be an exciting series.
I wish the Rams would watch the Cards play, maybe they would get the idea that a perfect season doesn;t mean to lose every game.

I grew up in west Tennessee where St. Louis was the closest major league team. I remember many nights of falling asleep listening to Jack Buck call the game on KMOX through my el-cheapo AM transistor radio. I became a huge Cardinal fan as a kid and still am. I have been to a few games in St. Louis (went a few weeks ago) and have seen them at Wriggly Field playing the much hated Chicago Cubs  I watched the game last night while nervously eating venison backstrap and gravy over pasta. I hate close games.....especially with a team like the Rangers who can eat your lunch with the best of them. I will be glued to the TV through the whole series hoping that they come through with a World Series win.

What a game that # 2 was. The Rangers took one of the road.

The low scores have been surprising.

Another prediction: It won;t be a sweep! I'm better at postdictions then predictions

If the Rangers don't get some bats fired up the Cards will spank their butts. :bang:

Yes. They'd best wake those bats up! 4 total runs in two games is pitiful.

Now only three players in history have hit three home runs in one game. Babe Ruth, Reggie Jackson, and Albert Pujols.

If Texas keeps trying to pitch to him he might do it again. Can't throw it down the middle to a good hitter.
