working some cattle

Just got home from ear tagging and de-licing about 65 Black Angus.

The negatives:
-one cow did jump a 5 ft. corral fence, so she just didn't get tagged today.
-it was hot
-it was dry
-it was dusty
-It was dry
-it was dusty

Did I mention it was dry and dusty. When will it rain?! Wait, what is rain?

The positives:
-IT was FUN!
-The cows and a few bulls looked great!
-I'm gaining much needed experience
-Some of those little calfs are dang cute
-Cows are strong!
-it was FUN!


Just thought I would share, I know y'all understand.

you really had a great day.even though it was hot an dry.an the 1 cow jumped the corral panel.thats really a normal day.no major misshaps took place.

Yep, no major mishaps just some manure on the pants and boots.

That sounds like a good day. No injuries or lost in head, I really enjoy getting to do that kind of stuff

I spent my Sat. prying a baler apart. :x (bad bearings) Yes I agree it was hot. We got a little rain last night, so it wasn't quite as dusty.

started to get a little rain. 1 cow jumping panel is a good for some.had one get her head hung and we could get her freed fast enough... you had a good day.
