Sorry.

Just a bit excited ... first show of the spring circuit is this weekend :D

I know the feeling......We just tied up 5 calves on Friday to add to our show string for our two big shows this fall.....We now have an 11 head that we will be showing..

It's obvious your on the opposite side of the planet! We're starting to go into fall here in a few months. Have fun at the show and don't forget the camera!

pictures ... def will do. You will have to put up with picks from after the showing tho. I'm flying solo for this one, so will be doing all the parading.

You cant keep me and the camera apart for the first show of the season. For a day show, I will wind up taking 100 + photos. Thank goodness for digital and not having to use up 5 films!

Honestly you wouldnt think its spring its so bl00dy cold! :frowns: take that as a cold face not a sad face
Not to mention the grass aint growing ...

But still, had my first kid born the other day so thats a bit of a spring-y moment

Ahhh, I cant wait. Wish it was saturday already. I have been having serious withdrawal symptoms. But I still have two days of work and two agribusiness assignments to finish, not to mention its half past midnight and here I am just e-crastinating. Did I mention I hate agribusiness?

Seriously though ... I love the first show of the circuit. Its so familiar ... I get there with the cattle, start unloading into my usual place in the shed, and it just feels like 'what do I do with myself for the rest of the year?'

A bit sappy maybe, but forgive me, I've been existing on a mean 3hrs sleep for the last six nights ... man when I hit that swag in the straw on Sat night I am just gonna sleep zzzzzzzzzzzz

Same way our year has gone. Spring was cold and wet - grass didn't grow, then it got dry and hot - grass still isn't growing. :frowns: (real frown bordering on  ) Sounds like you are at least having fun.

hey vett, sorry to hear your season hasnt been good. We had real hopes for this year, but looks like we wont be getting a harvest again, at least not in my district. And we will continue handfeeding ... been going on about five years now :help:

Yep, having fun, I think I'm a bit drunk on lack of sleep

Right, I'm gonna stop ecrastinating cos I reckon if I glue my butt to the computer chair I reckon I can get this finished in a couple hours. Then off to work ...

Wow, I just read part of what I wrote last night.

"Interestingly, spokespeople have also declared that the mulesing debate has not linked the between Australian production and superfine wool."

Instead of

"Interestingly, spokespeople for the industry have also declared that the mulesing debate has not broken the links between Australian production of superfine wool and European manufacturers, who have expressed ongoing interest and long term dedication to the the use of this commodity, regardless of the debate."

Just submitted the two assignments electronically.

Not real good, but hopefully they will pass.

Ugh, now to have some breakfast, feed my goats and off to work

I will stop posting on this pointless thread now.
