woohooo another group done!!!

well the wf/mf group of cows finished calving today. 12 steers and 8 heifers, yay that is 2 bunches down(heifers 8 & wf/mf 20) and 2 groups to go (solids 9, 2 more to go & brangus 3, 9 more to go) brangus are later, we bought the brangus last fall.
we lost 2 calves, one in the pond( mom has a holstien steer now) one we don't know what happened dead when we found it, didn't ever get up.

we don't spring calf many but 9 out of 14 calved so far in the first group and the next bunch (20)will start in April

then mid August thru mid October is our big run
