I assume the oats is the green stuff coming up Fence. It doesn't seem to be in rows as I would expect from a no till drill.

Looks good. Is your no till on 7 1/2" centers? How long will you have to manage for prussic acid or nitrates in the stubble?

Yes .
No worries about purrisic acid or nitrates. Oats are still to short to graze at this point. Plan is Christmas to mid February then make decision on graze out or pull cows and make hay.

Been catching a little. Very little runoff but enough to get the ground saturated.

Do you usually have pretty good luck grazing the oats? Trying them for the first time here. Some of them are leafed out really well and some not so much.

We've always done oats every fall. Some years are better than others of course. Lack of rain has us running over a month behind. Yours looks great
