Not good here,wind gusting up to 45mph out of the north and dry dry dry!!
I'm on the fire scare again.Hope nobody throws their cigg butt out the window.I'm about 250 yds south of 287 and nothing but knee high dry grass between.
If I'm reading it right looks like you're getting some moisture down your part of Texas,Boogie.

FINALLY got some rain early this morning. And yes the wind was BAD yesterday. Just sitting outside watching the pasture blow away.
 
Cal we got a nice shower but that was about it. Lots of wind all weekend. At 5 AM it was sultry hot. At six the wind was out of the north and pretty chilly. Got some blue sky now so nothing else in the forecast.
 
we need rain so badly here..and it was an awful tease to see the big storms JUST southeast of the general area.

I broke down and ran the AC last night..house was 85..tonight, Ill be running the heater with the low getting to be in the 30's.
 
Cal...what was wrong with the wind we sent you yesterday...I'm sorry you it didn't seem to be of the variety you wanted and are returning it today....will try to do better in the future....

Almost, just almost got a shower this morning...even thundered a couple times....but this isn't "horseshoes or hand grenades" so close doesn't count.

Cal I did indeed get a little. Not nearly enough but way better than where I was. I have started feeding a little hay again.
 
It was cool and brezy here until about 4pm. then the wind picked up. By 8:30 pm we had very high wind, thunder, lightning and rain. Lost power by 9:pm and the weather raised hell all night. Kathy and I got up about 3:30 am. and the storm had passed. The sky was clear and you could see the beauty that God created for us, Stars everywhere. We were without power till 3:45pm today. High wind broke many limbs off trees and two hugh branches of the neighbors trees fell on our perimiter fence. Myself and my helper Husky {chain saw] spent the better part of the day cut'in wood and cleaning up the mess. My sorry s.o.b. neighbor did'nt offer any help.

I haven't started feeding hay but have started grazing what was going to be hay. Just got thru giving 2 pair and one that abandoned her calf a ride to town.
 
The plastic thingies above the windows on the truck are coming unstuck and are flapping! My allergies are working overtime.

Wind just wears me out. It was so nice yesterday and I had to work late... :(
