Windbreak

We've been losing a lot of trees the past few years where we winter the cows and I've been considering either building a permanent windbreak of some portable windbreak panels. My question is how do I determine the height and length needed? I am located in central Minnesota and would like to make it big enough for around 150 head. Any help would be appreciated; thanks.

Here is a link to a company in SD that makes the bale feeders Iuse. They also have a windbreak/calf shelter combination that works well in the Dakotas and MN in the winter. They have a lot fo different combinations. Good company to work with also. You may want to call the owner, Kelly for suggestions on your setup.
