That part should work ok as long as it is real firmly anchored to the ground. Other then the anchor system, all that would be needed is an alleyway system to funnel them to the chute.

Its not over priced by any means. It would be nice on a concrete slab or gravel pad.

I wouldn't want to work anything wild in it but it will work okay for gentle stuff. I don't like those guillotine rear gates as I've had a few to many dropped on my head or my arm while it's still in the cow but if you don't get lazy and you tie it open before you step behind her they work just fine.

The couple of guys I've used never opened the headgate. Just ran then in the chute and put a bar behind them.

Works fine. If the cows are halter broke you can do it tied to a tree. Or just run them in an alleyway and put a bar behind them so they can;t back over you. I bred a whole herd of Ankina like that. Run one in put the bar behind them, breed them, pull the bar, run the next one in and put the bar behind. Repeat for 60 some odd head.
